In Rio de Janeiro, 2016 has already begun.
While the president of the International Olympic Committee, Jacques Rogge, was announcing that Rio will host the Games in 2016, the “cariocas” were celebrating the choice in a very traditional brazilian way.
Copacabana beach was covered with 100 million (yes, 100 million) green-and-yellow smiles and music concerts, organized by the city hall and sponsors.
